Former Nigeria president Olusegun Obasanjo’s 80th birthday celebration took place in Abeokuta amidst much pomp and pageantry.
The octogenarian celebrated turning 80 with prominent dignitaries including politicians, kings, celebrities and successful businessmen.
The 80 year old went all fun as he took a juicy bite of his birthday cake.
Some of Africa’s most powerful people in attendance included including Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his wife Toyin Saraki, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, Ooni of Ife: Oba Ogunwusi and his wife Olori Wuraola, Dele Momodu, Senators Dino Melaye and Shehu Sani, President of Liberia; Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
