Gunmen suspected to be of Fulani origin have killed no less than 30 persons, including women, in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday.
The incident has been confirmed by the Kaduna State Police Command but no official figure of those killed and injured in the attacks has been released. Police Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Usman has said that a detachment of security officers have been deployed to beef up security in the area. The Kaduna State Government is yet to comment on the incident.
